Did you know that the crafting world has remained steady through our up and down cycle economy? We, at SavvyShopper4U, like to save you money wherever and whenever we can. American’s spend about $29 billion a year on crafting, a figure that has remained pretty stable in spite of the wobbly economy. We also like to support causes about 4-6 times a year. So we are letting you know of the one we will be supporting this month. We hope you will join us in supporting them. If you would like to join us in supporting them, here is their story and a few ways in which you can support them.                                                                                                                                                Through These Hands –Extending our hands to help those in need.
Is a non-profit organization that acquires and distributes medical/non-medical supplies primarily, but not limited to Developing Countries through other non-profit organizations.

Their beginning started in approximately 2005 with the first shipment of 500 pairs of slippers. Destination…. Kosovo.
This organization is completely staffed by volunteers. While some supplies have been given to individuals/groups taking short-term missions trips, other supplies and equipment have been transferred to established international non-profit organizations to be delivered to developing countries. Supplies distributed consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

Wheelchairs
X-Ray Machines
Surgical Supplies
Hospital Beds and Mattresses and linens
Walkers, canes, and crutches
Orthopedic supplies

Through These Hands warehouse is located in Slatington, Pa, so if you would like to donate to them,you can do that in a couple of ways.
